J.D. Hutchens, 78, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Saturday.
J.D. was a local business owner. Before retiring, he served the community for 30 years. His body shop in Owens Cross Roads has been in business for more than 40 years.
He was preceded in death by mother, Gurtha Hutchens, father, Cleve Hutchens, and brother, J.C. Hutchens.
Surviving are daughter, Evie Martin, son, Jimmy Hutchens, granddaughters, Lily Whitaker and Rachel Hutchens, grandsons, Jimmy Kent, Jonathan Kent, and David Hutchens, brothers, J.W. Hutchens, Bobby Joe Hutchens, Billy Ray Hutchens, R.L. Hutchens and James Hutchens, sister, Linda Nash and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating.
