Mary Frances Anders, 50, of Woodville, passed away Thursday.

She was preceded in death by father, Ben Clark, mother, Lorene Clark, sister, Charlene O’Neal, and infant brother, James Earl Clark.

Surviving are daughter, Cassandra (Samuel) Stone, daughter, Kayla (Rocky) Anders, grandchildren, Trey Stone and Aiden Smith, brother, David (Martha Joe) Clark, brother, Benny (Mary) Clark, brother, Donald (Lisa) Clark, brother, Roger Clark, sister, Lois (Roger) Allen, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Chapel, Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Interment will be in the Kennamer Cemetery.

Jewel Duncan

jewel duncanJewel Duncan, 82, went home to be with God, Saturday, April 4, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Prince Duncan, and son, George Duncan.

She is survived by her remaining seven children, Walter Duncan (Patty), Brenda Ikard (Tim), Gary Duncan (Rhonda), Larry Duncan (Kay), Kathy Franklin, Johnny Duncan (Joan), and Anita Duncan. Jewel deeply loved all of her 20 grandchildren, more than 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She worked at Parker-Hannifin for 22 years. In her spare time, she loved league bowling, cooking huge family meals and growing beautiful flowers in her yard.

Visitation will be at New Hope Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, with funeral services on Wednesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery.

Mary Ruth Lewis , 65, of New Hope, passed away Thursday.

She was preceded in death by father, Elmer Davis.

Surviving are mother, Nora Bell Davis, daughter, Ann (Johnathan) Dake, daughter, Kim Lewis, son, John Paul Lewis, daughter, Lydia (Michael) Weeks, son, Jeremy Lewis, son, Randall Lewis, son, James Scott Lewis, five grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday at 5:00 pm with Rev. Cody Gilliam officiating.

Mary Sloan Fowler , 69, of New Hope, passed away Thursday.

She was preceded in death by father, Dewey Sloan, and mother, Willie Sloan.

Surviving are husband, Dewey Wayne Fowler, son, Donald (Laurel) Royster, son, William Royster, son, Dewayne (Deborah) Fowler, daughter, Linda (Paul) Pitochelli, daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Clark, son, Dewey Fowler, Jr., 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, special friend, Bonnie Mayes, sister, Galdine (Bill) Scott, brother, Shelby (Patsy) Sloan.

Visitation will be Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday at 2:00 PM with Shelby Sloan officiating.

Pallbearers, Dewey fowler Jr., David Morgan, Billy Fowler, Jay O’Neal, Robbie Fowler, and Keith Elledge.

Interment will be in the Kennamer Cemetery.

Albert Lester Moon

Albert Lester Moon, 61, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Sunday.

Lester served as pastor and associate pastor at several local churches.

He was preceded in death by father, Virgil Moon, mother, Jean Moon.

Surviving are wife, Jerri Moon, son, Joseph Vasser, daughter, Michelle (Ragan) Self, son, Lee Moon, grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Alex, Charlie, Austin, and Aubrey, brother, Wayne Moon, brother, Marvin Moon, brother, Phillip Moon, and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Robbie Thornberry and Bro. Trotwood Mance officiating.

Interment will be in the Green Valley Cemetery.

J.D. Webster

J.D. Webster, 75, of New Hope, passed away Saturday March 21, 2015. He was born in Madison County on November 26, 1939 to James and Ruthie Webster. He was a member of Christ Church of Huntsville, AL.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 – 1964. He also served in the U.S. National Guard from 1964 – 1968. He retired from Teledyne Wah Chang after working 36 years as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen Webster. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Woody Webster, son Jeff (Elizabeth Ann) of New Hope, daughter Amy W. Floyd (Billy) of Arab, daughter Tina W. Moon (Randy) of Alabaster, and son Jason (Dawn) of New Hope; grandchildren, Caroline and James Webster, Samuel and Zachary Moon, and Davis and Audrey Webster. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Baker (Walt) of Houston, TX, and brother, Kenneth Webster (Joyce) of Hartselle, AL, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Funeral Home. The funeral service officiated by Pastor W.O. Dub McCain will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery.
