December 27, 1973 – September 19, 2016
Melissa Murphree, 42, of Huntsville, passed away Monday.
She was preceded in death by grandmother, Alta Artis and grandfather, John Thomas Artis.
Surviving are mother, Nancy Jean Morrison, daughter, Brittany Murphree, sister, Jamie Morrison-Tidwell, sister, Stephanie Morrison, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home. Service will follow 3:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Thomas Murphree officiating.

Melissa, I hardly remember a time when we weren’t friends. I am truly so sorry Britt and Mama Nancy. Rest high sweet friend! Though we didn’t see each other often enough you will be missed deeply.
