Milton Eugene Maples, Jr., 47 of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was born in Olympia, Washington. Milton grew up in New Hope, Alabama where he met his wife, Tina. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Eugene Maples, Sr. and Norma Jean Miller Maples; father-in-law, Allen Wayne “Sonny” Norman, Sr.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Tina Norman Maples; two daughters, Amber Nicole Maples, Haylee Jean Maples; one son, Milton Eugene “Tripp” Maples, III; four sisters, Brenda Edwards (Dwight), Sandra Sharp, Melinda Ortner (Johnny), Maria Browne (Darren); and a host of family and friends.

Milton’s greatest pride was his wife and children. He enjoyed handcrafting things with his kids. He was fascinated with outer space and the universe beyond. He was a hard-working man that never failed to provide for his family. He will be missed by all that knew him.

You may visit with the family on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at New Hope Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be Sunday, March 6, 2016 in New Hope Funeral Home’s Chapel at 2:00pm, Bro. Adam Ragland officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Neals Chapel Cemetery.

  1. Saddened hearts from my family to hear of Milton’s sudden passing .He was a loving young man who always told me he loved me .My prayers and thoughts go out to my niece Tina and the three children that they had together.

    • Donald was sad to hear the news of Milton’s passing’ they were close friends when they were teenagers’ he was always so friendly & polite when he visited. Our symphony goes out to his family’ Rest in peace old friend!

  2. I can see some resemblance to his Father. It is a sad time for the family. My best wishes to his wife Tina
