Rudolph S.”Rudy” Lindbeck

November 2, 1929 – November 16, 2014

Rudolph S.”Rudy” Lindbeck, 85, of Huntsville, passed away at his residence on November 16, 2014.

Rudy was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He earned his Doctorate in Business at the University of Alabama and was an accounting professor at Florida State University, Auburn University, University of Alabama-Huntsville and Louisiana Tech University. He and his wife, Wendy were active members of the American Contract Bridge League Unit 232.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Sharp Lindbeck and his stepson Beau Bridges, as well as his children of his deceased wife, Billie; Steve, Eric and Kurt Lindbeck, and Kathy Sparks. Also surviving are his nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

The Family will receive friends at New Hope Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, followed by a private graveside ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to donor’s favorite charity.
