Doris Ann Pritchett Spivey, 77, of New Hope, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Reuben Spivey; parents, Susie Barnes Pritchett and Russell Lee Pritchett; one niece, Susan Leigh Pritchett

Survivors include three daughters, Sheila Spivey Grimes and husband Robert, Shirley Spivey Whorton and husband Ritchie, Sherri Spivey Madden and husband Rick; granddaughters, Elizabeth Grimes Webb and husband Jarren, McKenna Whorton, Kylee Whorton, Sarah Grimes; grandsons, Brett Madden and Bryant Madden; beloved brother, James Edward “Sonny” Pritchett and wife Carol; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ with Bro. Harold Kelly, and Bro. Edwin Parks officiating. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Internment will be in Hayden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ Member Service Fund (P.O. Box 217 Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763) or the charity of your choice.

Interment will be in the Hayden Cemetery.
