  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. No one should ever have to bury a child. Thank you for your sacrifice for his service to us. We are grateful.

  2. Matt, I did not get to meet you like I wanted to, but I know you were a great man because you were Our Son’s Best Friend. Thank you for your service to our country and may God be with your family and friends in this time. I know that you will be missed by Many. Rest In Peace Matt. ❤

  3. You are one of my most memorable students. Everyday you brought a smile to my face and broke my bearing with your honest smart ass comments and questions. I will surely miss you. And always remember the times we spent together.
    Sempier Fi buddy.

  4. Sorry for your loss! he will be missed by his loved ones but now he begins his walk beside God . Thank you for your service to our country!

  5. Robert and Monya- Donald and I are praying for you. This is such a tragedy that cannot be understood. You will be on our mind and in our prayers,as the death of Matthew will be a daily struggle. I wish I had words of wisdom, but this is one road you two will have to take and rely on one another and God. Just know we are thinking of you.

  6. To my brother, though we were separated in life, so shall we be united in heaven. Until we meet again Mappy doo.
Matthew is also survived by his older brother Albert Harris and Alberts wife Rose and four children.
