Pauline Thompson Morrison

January 4, 1933 – September 1, 2012

Pauline Thompson Morrison, 79, of Grant, passed away Saturday.

She was member of the Hebron Church of Christ for 63 years. Pauline loved going to church, and visiting with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by father, James Richard Thompson, mother, Elsie Jane Pence Thompson, husband, James Erskin Morrison, son, Lanny Terrell Morrison, granddaughter, Danielle Morrison, grandson-in-law, Jason Guffey, great grandchildren, Mollie and Jake Guffey.

Surviving are son, James (Sandy) Morrison of Cocoa Beach, FL, son, Tony Morrison of Grant, daughter, Renae (Randy) Webb of Boaz, son, Gerald (Greta) Morrison of Grant, son, Randy (Penny) Morrison of Grant, daughter, Debra (Wayne) Stapler of New Hope, son, Donald (Myra) Morrison of Grant, daughter, Anita (Richard) Payne of New Hope, grandchildren, Barney, Brooke, Tara, Nicole, Chad, Valerie, Jason, Todd, Dana, Drew and Dylan, 14 great grandchildren, sister, Bunea Mae Stapler of New Hope, brother, Charles Thompson of Huntsville, special sister-in-law, Gertha Connally, several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Monday at 11:00 am with Bro. Bobby Starnes, Bro. Harold Kelly officiating.

Interment will be in the Morris Cemetery.

  2. I am so very sorry for your loss. I just learned of your mother’s passing and my heart hurts for all of you. May the Lord ease your burdened hearts and fill your minds of sweet memories of the past and the knowledge that Mrs. Pauline is in a much better place now with no pain.
