  3. A tribute to my mother

Born: Green Mountain, Madison County, Alabama Jan 25, 1918,
She was a believer in Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member over 50 years of New Hope Church of God and also a charter member of Owens Cross Roads Church of God.

Raising three boys and two girls while sharecropping farming, She was a WPA worker planting dogwood trees some of which are still in front of New Hope High School.

She was a bright star to everyone who knew her. Finally she is not lost or gone, but on the 27th of April, 2012 Heaven welcomed a new Angel.

    In loving memory and gratitude

    Roger Dale Ikard
