November 2, 1991 – May 5, 2011

Chelsea Patricia Solliday, 19, of New Hope, passed away Thursday.

Surviving are father, James Solliday of Salem, OR, mother, Denise H. Schaffer of New Hope, step father, John Schaffer of New Hope, son, Cameron Solliday of New Hope, grandmother, Patricia Bardlow, sister, Wendy Hoch, uncle, Geoff  (Cheryl) Hoch, uncle, Christian Hoch, uncle, Bradley (Holly) Solliday, aunt, Tammy (Paul) Solliday-Burris, great uncle, William Beckman, cousin, Autum Solliday and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-8pm at New Hope Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 2pm at Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church in New Hope with Thomas Dunn officiating.

Interment will be in the Moon Cemetery.

  9. I knew Chels as a night student when I worked at Virginia College. She was a bright, bubbly, sweet girl who loved her little boy Cam and her Momma more than anything. Heaven has gained a lovely angel, and she will be missed very much on earth. Her family will be in my prayers.
