Ruth E. Craft

April 9, 1923 – April 4, 2010

Ruth Elizabeth Cobb Craft, 86, of Gurley, passed away Sunday.

Mrs. Craft was a native of Madison County, accepted Christ in her teens and remained devoted to her family all her life. She was an avid Gardner and loved embroidery and quilting.

She was preceded in death by brother, Harold Cobb, brother, Franklin Cobb, brother, David Cobb, sister, Beryl Cobb, sister, Gladys Dunson, sister, Faye Cobb, husband, James W. Craft, great-grandson, Joseph W. Chandler.

Surviving are brother, John Ben Cobb, sister, Betty (Elmer) Meaker, sister, Nancy (Robert) Summers, daughter, Barbara Craft of Hollywood, daughter, Evangeline (Dave) Boos of Grant, grandchildren, Regena (Dale) Chandler, Brian (Teresa) Felsiinger, Lanet Thompson and Sabrena (Nick) Peer, Malynda Ashmore, great grandchildren, Hope and Jessica Felsinger, Brooke and Kimmy Thompson, Cassey Ashmore, Heather McCrary, Laura Boos and Lily Peer, great great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holland, C. David Boos, Jonathan Ashmore and Joshua McCrary., and several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 3:00 PM with Dan Anderson officiating.

Interment will be in the Sneed Cemetery.
