Shirley McPeters Wilbourn , 62, of New Hope, passed away Monday.
She was preceded in death by father, Thomas H. McPeters, mother, Lillie Bell McPeters, brother, Edward McPeters, brother, Harold O’Neal McPeters, sister, Kathleen Grayson.
Surviving are daughter, Virginia Wilbourn of Gadsen, brother, Thomas (Carolyn) McPeters of New Hope, sister, Mary (David) Smith of New Hope, sister, Pam (Doug) Morgan of Huntsville, sister, Mildred (O’neal) Byram, boyfriend, Donnie Chancellor of New Hope, and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Friday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Henry Earl McPeters, Tim McPeters officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery.

alls loss ,Shirley was a very dear person to our family she lived next door to my mom and step dad on Maples rd for years and my mother loved her and Gin to death and Donnie to and Tom and Carolyn have been long times friends of our family and we also went to church with them they are all wonderful people and Shirley will be missed and my whole family (Thompson’s and Hutto’s ) are so sorry for yalls loss and our hearts go out to the family ,y’all are in our thoughts and prayers and we love you all and will be here if y’all need anything…God Bless you all …with our love ,thoughts and prayers
